Nestled in the hills of Ooty, Serene Haven is a boutique homestay designed in a Scandinavian architectural style, reflecting the client's vision for a calm, understated retreat. Developed in collaboration with Ar. Abraham Abraham, the project balances simplicity with warmth.
White-painted exposed brick walls, grey sloping roofs, and large openings create a quiet dialogue with the surrounding landscape. The homestay comprises four guest rooms with thoughtfully designed ensuite bathrooms, connected by generous shared spaces that encourage relaxation and conversation. Framed views of the hills, natural light, and a restrained material palette come together to create a peaceful, immersive stay.
